SAP SOLUTION MANAGER (SOLMAN) is a basic tool which supports running and development of applications in SAP landscape which can be used at all levels of IT organization in SAP systems as well as in non-SAP landscape.
It is delivered free of charge with SAP licenses. Correct settings of SOLMAN scenarios bring your company a wider use of already purchased SAP applications. Unfortunately, most often it is used for downloading actualizations SP and NOTES and for EWA reports processing. Using SOLMAN is its full scale, e.g. for solution documentation or business processes monitoring, lowers costs on running SAP.
