Workshop: ABAP RESTful Applications

ABAP RESTful Applications – Modern Approach to SAP Service Development Do you want to learn how to create RESTful web services directly in the ABAP environment? The ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is a modern framework for developing scalable, secure, and robust applications and services that comply with modern REST standards. Our workshop ABAP RESTful Applications will guide you through the fundamentals of development, explain the RAP architecture, and show you how to efficiently create OData services and REST APIs using ABAP. You will become familiar with key concepts such as entities, behavior definitions, service bindings, and deployment.

Thursday, May 22, 2025, 09:00 – 11:30 and 13:30 – 16:00
